Starting now (Nov 2013) we are working with the trigger and IPBus guys to develop
a generic GUI which can meet the following criteria:
- Render a reasonable display from information in an XML address table
- Provide a way for users to change some aspects of the display and save the changes
- Provide a way for users to interact with a board by directly modifying register contents
- Provide a way to script operations involving multiple register accesses, triggered by e.g. button presses
